Melissa K. Dix
Melissa K. Dix graduated from Boston College before attending Duke University School of Law. While at Duke, Melissa served on the Public Interest Law Foundation Board for three years, serving as President during her final year. She also served on the Moot Court Board for two years after winning the 1L Hardt Cup Tournament. Outside of the classroom, Melissa worked as a Research Assistant to Major General Charles Dunlap, externed with the Durham County District Attorney’s Office, interned with the United States Air Force JAG Corps, and interned with the Davidson County District Attorney General’s Office in Nashville.
After graduating from Duke University School of Law with the Public Interest and Public Service Certificate, Melissa returned to Nashville to begin her career with the Davidson County District Attorney’s Office, handling a wide variety of criminal cases and working with the Conviction Review Unit.
