
Laura Cantwell
Laura Cantwell attended Northeastern University and Vanderbilt Law School. While at Vanderbilt, she externed with the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and helped advance the Voyeurism Victims Act through the Tennessee legislature.
Prior to practicing law, Laura worked in political communications and campaign management. She served as Campaign Manager for Voting Rights Act of Virginia champion Delegate Marcia Price and managed organizing efforts on statewide and national campaigns for Representative Beto O’Rourke and Governor Deval Patrick. Laura also oversaw public relations for Elevated Access, a nonprofit that coordinates free flights for people seeking abortion and gender-affirming care.
Her background in advocacy and public service informs her work at Horwitz Law, PLLC, where she focuses on civil rights and victims’ rights litigation.
